Jay Ashurst graduated from Auburn University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He has been an aviation and portrait artist ever since and has been involved with Gathering of Eagles for more than 20 years. His art is recognized worldwide and he has showcased hundreds of aviation pioneers and their aircraft.
